I swore that I would NEVER sell my dream car, but tough economic times and mounting bills have forced me to do just that. My 1969 Dodge Charger boasts:
- 440 Magnum (originally a 318)
- Brand new dash cluster and bezels installed
- Recently rewired front to back by Pure Vision of Simi Valley, CA
- TTI ceramic headers and 2 1/2" TTI exhaust (X pipe) all the way back
- Brand new steering gear from Flaming River
- 3:55 posi rear end in a 742 housing from Mancini Racing
- Brand new Goodyear Eagle GT II tires
- 275's (Rear)
- 235's (Front)
- Brand new 15" Torque Thrust II rims from American Racing
- Brand new interior from Legendary Auto Interiors
- Brand new headliner
- Alpine CDA-9885 head unit
- MP3 jack
- Infinity speakers
Like all 40 year old cars, there are a couple minor problems.
- I just lost the dash lights. I'm sure it's just a fuse, but I have no idea where the fuse box is located.
- The car will sometimes stall out when you slow down or come to a stop, unless you put it in neutral. I've been told it does this because the cam is too big. If it does stall out, however, it starts right back up. You can adjust the carb to keep it from stalling, but replacing
the cam is probably your best bet.
I paid a pretty penny for this car 3 years ago, and have put a TON of money into it. However, I have it priced FAR BELOW what I've invested in it. This car is a blast to drive, and I know you'll enjoy it as much as I have.
