The first GMC to make the list, and probably the greatest GMC ever made. They might as well have strapped a JATO rocket to a pickup, and it worked. If you want a fast truck, and you have lots of spare rear tires – this is the truck for you.

I realize that this is not exactly a practical used car, but it’s coolness pretty much eclipses all other considerations. This would make a perfect second car for ANYONE. Consider this a post for the posterity for the Renault Turbo.

Some people might call it plain, and a lot of people might complain about the window regulators – but this is a a lot of car for under $7k. There hasn’t been a GTI in a while that couldn’t use a stiffer suspension, but this one is probably due anyway.

The Chevy/Geo Metro, and Suzuki Swift were generally not greatly loved cars (except by their owners), and few people are even aware of their predecessor, the Chevy Sprint. All of these cars are built by Suzuki, but this particular one has an intercooled turbocharger, and very little weight to drag around. If you love turbo powered hatchbacks, this is an affordable, reliable, classic.
